This photograph of a Green turtle fleeing from my dive buddy Hilary 'Maud' Hickmott was taken in a depth of 8 to 9 metres at Abu Dabbab near Marsa Alam, Egypt on 2nd October 2009.

I used my Nikon D200 digital SLR with a 10-17mm Tokina lens at a focal length of 10mm on manual settings and two Inon Z-240 strobes on low manual settings. ISO 140, 1/125th sec, aperture F5.6, Exposure Compensation 0.
