This photograph of Rock Cod demonstrating aggressive male territorial behaviour was taken at a depth of about 11 to 12 metres on a dive from Dutchmans Beach to The Pipeline, Nelson Bay NSW Australia on 15th August 2018.

I used my Nikon D500 digital SLR with a Nikon 12-24mm lens at 22mm and two Inon Z-330 strobes on low manual settings. ISO 800, 1/250th sec, aperture F16, Exposure Compensation 0.
