This photograph of a Stellar Sea Lion, the largest of eared seals, with one of my dive buddies was taken in a depth of about 9 metres at Vivian Island near Comox off Vancouver Island, Canada on 24th May 2018.

I used my Nikon D500 digital SLR with a Sigma 17-70mm lens at a focal length of 17mm on manual setting and two Inon Z-240 strobes on TTL. ISO 800, 1/200th sec, aperture F14, Exposure Compensation 0.
