This photograph of Salmon shark was taken in a depth of less then one metre near Valdez in Port William Sound, Alaska on 17th July 2017. The Salmon shark was pretty fast, I really should have chosen a faster shutter speed.

I used my Nikon D7200 digital SLR with a 12-24mm Nikon lens at a focal length of 12mm on manual setting and two Inon Z-240 strobes on TTL. ISO 800, 1/125th sec, aperture F7.1, Exposure Compensation 0.
