This shot of an Olive Sea snake with my buddy Mick Todd was taken on 17th September 2013 in a depth of about 6 metres at Acropolis near Ribbon Reef 10 on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.

I used my Nikon D7000 digital SLR with a 10-17mm Tokina lens at a focal length of 10mm on manual setting and two Inon Z-240 strobes on low manual settings. ISO 400, 1/125th sec, aperture F7.1, Exposure Compensation 0.
