This image of a common UK lobster was included in the second edition of DIVE The Ultimate Guide by Monty Halls. According to the publishers, Ultimate Sports, this book published in September 2008 was the world's best selling world scuba diving guide.

I took this photograph on 2nd August 2005 on the outside of Dover Harbour West Wall, Dover, Kent, UK in a depth of about 8.5 metres.

I used my Olympus C5060 compact camera on manual exposure programme at a focal length of 12mm with two Inon D-180 strobes on manual settings. ISO 100, Aperture F8, Shutter Speed 1/60th.
