In July 2018, Mick Todd and I enjoyed a “Minke Whale Expedition” trip aboard Mike Ball’s Spoil Sport based in the Great Barrier Reef, however for two days Spoil Sport left the Great Barrier Reef to visit Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea.There were no Dwarf Minke whales there but the stunning visibility and marine life more than made up for it. We did 8 dives at 5 sites, Admiralty Anchor, Fairy Grotto, False Entry, Five-Eighths and North Horn. 

 

The splendid crew included Mike Ball himself, Trip Director Kerrin Jones and Julia Sumerling, an outstanding Expedition Photographer and Videographer.
