In September 2009 I returned to Port Ghalib in Marsa Alam, staying at the Hotel Marina Lodge, this being just six weeks after my previous trip there. But that had been one of my best ever dive trips so I simply could not resist.
Enthusiastic young Frenchman Sebastian Mars joined me for a few dives – I hope he likes the photos I took of him.
Once again
Eva Kirsh was great fun to dive with.. and a fantastic underwater model. And Sylvain Arnoul was outstanding as well. They are both so coordinated and graceful underwater.
I had been so incredibly lucky on my previous trip. This trip was never going to be quite as good but nevertheless I had a fantastic time with the Emperor Divers staff making me very welcome, Luke Atkinson and Tracy Leverett in particular. And unlike my previous visit, this time I enjoyed some close encounters with dolphins at Shaab Samadi.
