Dec. 1999
In the last week of November 1999 Eve and I visited Little Cayman in the Caribbean.

This island is 11 miles long and 1 mile wide and is the smallest of the three Cayman Islands in the British West Indies. Located about 90 miles northeast of Grand Cayman, Little Cayman is 5 miles west of Cayman Brac.

We regretted going in late November. The weather was disappointing and prevented us from diving all but four of the well-known Bloody Bay Wall dive sites on the north side of the island. Our diving otherwise was restricted to the south side. Dive Sites visited included Randy's Gazebo and Marilyn's Cut.

We stayed at the excellent Little Cayman Beach Resort diving with Reef Divers. On our last day of diving, Dive Master Ryan Lawson encouraged me to do two Atlantis Semi-Circuit Rebreather Try Dives (Dives 167 and 168) with him and as a result, the following week, in Grand Cayman, I undertook the TDI Draeger Dolphin/Atlantis Semi-Closed Rebreather course.
