In June 2006, I again travelled to Selsey, this time with Chris Powell and Richard Everett. As before we sought the advice of Ocean View Diving Services Ltd before diving and after the dive they gave us complimentary coffees to warm us up.

After such a good dive on my previous visit, this dive was always likely to be an anticlimax and so it proved, there being no sign of cuttlefish, dogfish or gurnards. A few cuttlefish had been seen five days earlier but these now seem to have gone. We did see numerous spider crabs who come up from deeper water to find a mate and breed and I briefly saw a large free swimming eel. Other fish life included blennies and gobies, wrasse and various crabs.
